Ontology of Relational Information

Relational Monism

Information is not an abstraction. It is not a record. It is not content detached from matter. Within relational ontology, information becomes a form of the field’s pulsation, the manner in which vibration organises itself into differences that can be read by a hypostasis. Information does not exist outside relation. It is relation. It is difference. It is the density of the field, capable of being apprehended, transformed, and transmitted.

Information as a Difference in Density

As the field pulsates, it generates differences in density. These differences are not “data”. They are relations, configurations of vibration that may be interpreted by another hypostasis. Information thus becomes a difference whose significance exists only within relation. There is no absolute information. There is only relational information, a difference that acts.

Information is not content. Information is not value. Information is not an object. Information is difference, a density of the field capable of exerting influence.

Information as the Pulsation of the Field

The field does not store information in a static sense. The field stores pulsation. Information therefore becomes a form of vibration, the way in which the field organises its own dynamics. Every piece of information is movement. Every piece of information is change. Every piece of information is relation.

In this sense, information is not a record. It is a process. It is not a state. It is a transition. It is not a structure. It is a pulsation.

Information as a Form of Perception

Perception does not receive the world. Perception arranges the world. Information therefore becomes a form of perception, the way in which a hypostasis organises the pulsation of the field into a structure capable of being experienced. Information does not exist without perception. Information does not exist without the relation between the field and the hypostasis.

Information is that which can be read. Information is that which can be transformed. Information is that which can be transmitted. Information is the perception of the field.

Information as a Form of Self-Organisation

By organising its own pulsation, the field creates structures capable of sustaining that organisation. Information therefore becomes an instrument of self-organisation, the means by which the field maintains its own dynamics through differences in density. Any form capable of capturing information is capable of self-organisation.

Life becomes information. Consciousness becomes information. Culture becomes information. Information is not an addition to complexity. It is its condition.

Information as a Form of Communication

Communication is not the transmission of content. It is the synchronisation of pulsations. Information therefore becomes the means by which hypostases attune their own vibration to the vibration of other hypostases. Communication does not consist in sending “data”. It consists in creating relations.

Information is movement between hypostases. Information is a difference that alters difference. Information is a pulsation that synchronises pulsation.

Communication therefore becomes a form of relationality, the manner in which the field organises its own vibration on a social scale.

Information as a Form of Technology

Technology does not store information. Technology stores pulsation. Every device, every system, every code becomes a hypostasis of the field, a configuration of relations between matter, energy, and consciousness. Information within technology is not content. It is movement, the way in which the field organises its own complexity into instrumental structures.

Technology is not the opposite of nature. Technology is not an addition to culture. Technology is not “progress”. Technology is information, the pulsation of the field in material-symbolic form.

Information as a Clearing

A clearing also appears within information. When an informational structure becomes excessively dense, excessively complex, excessively burdened, a clearing emerges, a moment in which information reveals its own source: the field. An informational clearing is not an error. It is an unveiling, a moment in which structure discloses its own relationality.

A clearing is not the loss of data. A clearing is not a malfunction. A clearing is not chaos. A clearing is a return to the field.

Information as the Principle of Unity

The unity of the universe does not arise from substance. It arises from information, from the pulsation of the field that organises all forms into relations capable of synchronisation. Information does not separate. Information connects. Information does not disperse. Information integrates.

Unity is not matter. Unity is not spirit. Unity is not structure. Unity is information, the pulsation of the field capable of sustaining its own relationality.

Information as Ontology

The ontology of relational information does not describe data. It describes the manner in which the field generates information through pulsation, difference, perception, self-organisation, communication, and clearings. Information therefore becomes ontology itself, the form in which the field reads itself.

Information is not the content of the world. Information is the manner of its emergence. Information is relation.

ABOUT

Silas O’Creamy *, being an alter ego created by a real author, wishes to reassure the reader that any resemblance to actual philosophers, academics, metaphysicians, or self‑appointed epistemic authorities is purely coincidental — though, given the state of contemporary metaphysics, probably inevitable. This site is offered in the long and noble tradition of intellectual mischief: a reminder that the universe remains stubbornly unknowable, that our models are charmingly inaccurate, and that every theory — including Relational Monism — is merely the latest attempt to make ignorance look respectable.
